Our latest release, Version 23.3.1, brings a series of important bug fixes and enhancements to Entity Management, ensuring a smoother and more reliable experience for our users. This update follows last week’s major architectural update and addresses key issues identified by tax practitioners and corporate users.

Tax Management Updates

Bug Fixes

• Login enhancements – resolved minor issues identified as a result of the major architectural update in last week’s release.
• ITR14 validation – bugs that prevented submissions have been fixed.

These improvements ensure that all existing tax management workflows function as expected and that submissions can proceed without interruption.

Entity Management Updates

General Tab for Companies

• Added an indicator to flag when Konsise information differs from CIPC data.
• Users can now view the differences via a pop-up and choose to override Konsise data with the CIPC data.
• A new Suffix field, automatically calculated based on the Company Type, has been added.

Shares Tab for Companies

• Added Designation labels to the Share Class pop-up and multiple reports (Record of Share Classes, Register of Share Allotments and Buybacks, Register of Share Transfers, Securities Register, Record of Share Certificates).
• Added Total Unissued field added to the Share Class table view, calculated as Total Authorised – Total Issued.
• Total Issued and Total Unissued fields now appear in the Share Class pop-up for greater clarity.

Beneficial Ownership for Trusts

Introduced a report to display Beneficial Owners and representatives of the Trust.

Roles Tab for Trusts

Added a Guardian field for Beneficiaries representing minors.

Resolutions & Document Uploads

• Enhanced the Resolutions tab with new fields: Description, Resolution No., Detail, Approval Method, Type, Passed Date, Notice Date, Registration Date, and Voting.
• Users can now generate a Record of Resolutions directly from uploaded information.
• New document file types are allowed: MSG, XLSM, XLTM, and XLSB.

PDF Improvements

• Default PDF colour set to grayscale.
• Default PDF layout set to landscape.

Other Bug Fixes

• Appointments: Resolved issues with removing dates and creating appointments for newly created entities.
• Company General Tab: Fixed unnecessary spaces and small-screen display issues.
• Annual Return Tracker: Corrected inaccurate submissions and visibility for newly registered entities.
• Shares Tab: Fixed small-screen display issues and deletion errors.
• Directors: Corrected voting rights display and duplicate BO overrides.
• Roles Tab for Trusts: Fixed inability to delete a Trustee.
