How to manage role assignments

To view a list of roles currently assigned to users on the account, click on the Master Data icon on the ribbon at the top of your screen and hover your cursor over Master Data Reports and then select User Access: Tax Filings

Master Data - User Access: Tax Filings

In this report, you will see a list of all the users' names

As well as the roles currently linked to tax types which have been associated with their user

If any of these roles need to be changed, you can do so from the specific tax filing on the entity in question. In order to make a role change, you will click on the Master Data icon and navigate to the Entity Type that the tax filing is associated with, for example Companies

From here, you will navigate to the entity in question and click on the View icon

Click on the Tax Filings tab to see the list of tax obligations for this entity and then select a tax filing from the list and click on the Edit icon

From the Summary screen – select the Edit icon under Role Assignments

If you already have role assignments enabled and you wish to change them, you will also click on the Edit icon to make the necessary changes

Click on Enable Role Assignments and assign roles to users from the drop-down list. Alternatively, you can click the Delete icon on the user who you wish to remove and then select the new user from the drop-down list. Once assigned, click Summary and Save

The following roles are available:
  1. Preparer – person responsible for the preparation of the tax filing
  2. Reviewer – person responsible for the review of the tax filing
  3. Oversight (optional) – read-only role assigned to the tax filing

Click on the Save button on the Summary page to save your changes

In order to see the changes effected, users whose roles have been changed will need to log out of all current Konsise sessions and then log back in.
