Tax Management Updates

IRP6 Enhancements for 2026 Filing Season

We’ve rolled out several updates to align with SARS’s changes for the new tax year:

• Date of Birth and Date Ceased to be a Resident fields added to the IRP6 card (DOB also available for bulk submissions).
• Functionality added to handle residency-based rules, supporting more accurate submissions.
• Medical Tax Credit fields now default to zero, reducing manual input errors, based on feedback we received during the recent webinar

EMP201 Filing Just Got Better

We’ve made our EMP201 functionality more robust and user-friendly:

• Schedule or request your SARS Statement of Account (SoA) manually or automatically.
• Generate PDFs before and after submission for better documentation.
• A helpful note now appears on the Determinations tab to indicate if the submission was completed via eFiling instead of Konsise.

Payment Tracker Refinements

We’ve added two new statuses to help you better understand payment delays, specifically related to overdue cards: “Filing Not Submitted” and “Submitted Not Paid.” These were based on a request for more information to explain why a payment was in the overdue status. 

We’ve also renamed “No Status” to “Not Submitted” for better clarity.

Auto-Updating Payment/Refund Info

Tired of mismatches between manually entered values and SARS data? So were many of you. That’s why the Payment/Refund section now auto-updates based on data in the Revenue Service Details tab, ensuring accuracy without manual adjustments.

Request Workflow Improvements

You can now better track where your SARS-related queries stand:

A new status, “With Revenue Service”, has been added for when documentation has been submitted to SARS, but final feedback is still pending.

This status is now available across the Request Workflow board, request cards, and Request Tracker.

Card creation and deletion actions are now logged in the History tab, improving your audit trail.

Corporate Income Tax Reporting Enhancement

We’ve added a new column to show the filing method (via eFiling or Konsise) on the Company Corporate Income Tax Report, now that ITR14 submissions are enabled in Konsise.

Other Improvements

• Wording update on queued submissions pop-up message to clarify submission timing.
• Export to Excel button is now available on all trackers and reports
• For clarity, the workflow board filter is now correctly labelled as “Entity” (not “Company”).
• Pane freezing on the Provisional Income Tax Report, making long reports easier to read.

Bug Fixes

• Filters now auto-adjust in sync (e.g., country filter updates other primary filters).
• Fixed incorrect “No Payment Due” status on Payment Tracker.
• Resolved several Request card bugs, including duplicate cards and verification letter issues.
• “Select All” now works on the Trust Income Tax Report.
• Removed Last Updated Date from the Revenue Service Correspondence view.

Entity Management Updates

• New Trackers: Annual Return Management. Managing annual returns just got simpler with two new trackers. The Annual Return Filing Tracker and Annual Return Compliance Tracker enable you to track what’s due, what’s filed, and what needs your attention.
• Entity Report Improvements. The Appointments, Shareholding, and Benefactrices tabs have been merged into a single Reports tab for cleaner navigation.
• Share Certificates can now be viewed: Grouped by Share Class or Grouped by Shareholder
• We also added Consideration Value to the share certificates.
• New Fields and Validations. "Known As", "Age", and "ID Issue Date" have been added when capturing individuals.
• Minors are now flagged on the Individual screen and in the Beneficial Ownership Interest Register.

• Date Updated to CIPC tab allows users to see when the data was last refreshed.

Entity Management Bug Fixes

• Share Allotment bugs reported by users are now resolved.
• Fixed a bug where the Enterprise History wouldn’t load properly on the CIPC tab.
