Retrospective cards

Retrospective cards

Introduction

When we add tax filings to Konsise, we select a first filing period. This first filing period represents the first card that is created for that tax filing in Konsise. Cards are then created for 5 years into the future, i.e prospective cards.

Retrospective cards are those cards created for prior periods that have already passed. We will create these cards for you (please contact support@konsise.com if you would like to activate this feature). Retrospective cards are created for 5 years into the past.

Example

Submission frequency: Monthly

First filing period: 2022-07-01 to 2022-07-31

How are retrospective cards created?
  • Contact support@konsise.com
  • Indicate which tax filings you would like to create retrospective cards for.
  • As a default we will set all the retro cards as Submitted – you can indicate a different status upfront upon request.
  • Once this has been generated, the cards will be available.

What about the SARS integration?

For the filings that are integrated to SARS, this is manually initiated. This initiation will pull all SOA information into the Revenue Service Details and all correspondence available on eFiling.

The SARS information that is available will be pulled through. This may not be for all 5 years worth of cards added to Konsise.
